Please Note: If you are registering as a minor (14-17 yrs), you must have your parent or guardian create their OWN account and register on your behalf.

Please use the email you use most often with Discovery Space programs.

It does take several minutes for your account to make it into the system. If it takes longer than 10 minutes, please email info@MyDiscoverySpace.org.

    The Summer Bash

    The Rivet is throwing the First Annual Summer Bash, informally known as Bobble Bash! Come get your head 3D scanned and watch as our talented team turns you into a bobble head to take home. Revisit some of our best Maker Monday stations including but not limited to: wood burning, acrylic pour art, glass painting (BYO), drone flying, custom T shirt making (BYO), 3D printing, culinary tasting and smelling stations, and a frying pan flipping station (BYOFP). Glasses and T shirts will be available for purchase.

    Register before June 5 to get a free raffle ticket for a 3D printer. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
    Robin Hood Brewing Company will be there with free beer and Brazilian Munchies food truck will be there with free Churros filled with Dulce de Leche. Students should email TheRivet@MyDiscoverySpace.org for a student discount code. More details coming soon!

    3D Printing and CAD Design

    July 10-12, 9:00 am 3:00 pm

    3 Day 3D Printing Workshop
    Location: 1224 N Atherton St
    Cost: $30 for the full 3 days

    Grasp the basics of 3D design using Autodesk Fusion 360. In class activities will build skills in understanding the concepts of tolerances in parts, assemblies, prototypes, working with materials, and 3D printing designs. Challenge contests will have you working in teams to solve 3D printing challenges, and participating in mini competitions. Basic tools (a drill, scroll saw, hot glue guns, clamps, etc) will be utilized to complete tasks. More details about a provided lunch coming soon.
