Youth Classes & Workshops
Unlock your child’s creativity and curiosity with hands-on youth programs at The Rivet! Each class gives young makers the opportunity to explore new skills, work with exciting tools and materials, and create something uniquely their own.
These programs are meant for kids ages 8-14. In some cases, specific age requirements are noted in the class description.

Introductory Makerspace Classes for ages 8-14
Each session will offer activities utilizing various areas of The Rivet workshop, including textiles, ceramics, electronics, 3D printing, woodworking, and more.

Summer Camps
Discovery Space and The Rivet are excited to share a full lineup of week-long STEM camps for elementary and middle-schoolers! Each camp features hands-on projects built around unique STEM, art, and maker themes.
Registration Opens January 28 for Discovery Space Members and February 28 for the public. Until then, explore this year’s camps and get ready for an inspiring summer of STEM!
Don’t Forget Your Camp T-Shirt! Camp T-shirts are optional and available to add to your order when you register. Add one at checkout so your camper is ready for summer fun!
Camps run from 9am to 4pm or as a half-day from 9am-12pm, as noted in each listing. Add extended care (for before and/or after camp) for an additional fee— allowing drop-off as early as 8am and pick-up as late as 5:00pm.
- Rivet camps are available for kids ages 11-14.
- Discovery Space camps are available for kids ages 6-10.
