What is the minimum age to participate in private classes at The Rivet?
Classes are best for ages 8 and up, but some experiences are better suited to older kids or adults. See specific age information within each class in the dropdown.
What types of private classes does The Rivet offer?
We offer classes across multiple categories including Art & Craft, Glasswork, Jewelry Making, Laser Cutting, Pottery, Textiles, and Woodworking.
What if I don't see any classes that interest me?
We also offer any regularly scheduled class options as private sessions, and we welcome the opportunity to help you bring a new class idea to life!
How much do private classes cost?
Private classes typically range from $90 – $200 and base pricing is based on 4 attendees (with the option for additional attendees for most classes). Cost varies by class based on required instruction and materials.
How far in advance do I need to book a private class?
Private classes should be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. For certain classes, we may be able to accommodate shorter notice – booking is subject to instructor availability.
After I purchase a class and round up my group, how long do I have to schedule and use the class?
Classes purchased for yourself or as a gift must be used within 6 months of the purchase date
