These crossbody purses are made from upcycled men’s ties – mostly vintage, and no two are EVER the same! Each bag has a center pocket – great for cell phone and wallet. There are two smaller pockets in each of the tie points for smaller items, such as Chapstick. Most of these have a tassel and button closure, and may have lace, fringe, and other “fru-fru.” Some buttons, pins, or jewelry parts are from my grandmother’s button box. And, of course, the strap length is completely adjustable, as it’s … ties.
Maker Information: Festively Dressed – Susan Polay – Although I have been sewing since I was about 6 years old, I have only been creating/sewing my items for sale as ”Festively Dressed” since the summer of 2016. I couldn’t find anything fun/hippie in “Goddess” sizes, so I decided to create my own, and then expanded the line. Crossbody bags and backpacks free up your hands and are great at festivals. I am pleased to be able to help anyone bring out their “inner hippie!”
